Entry #1: The Background Behind the Portrait

Hello again everyone,


In this post I'll talk about my hobbies, specifically, gaming, since it influenced my personality and the career path that I want to pursue. Gaming is the activity of playing electronic or digital games on various devices (consoles, PCs, phones) for entertainment. Many games feature interactive experiences with rules, challenges, and goals, ranging from single-player narratives to massive online multiplayer competitions and even professional esports. A few of my favorites are first-person shooter games (FPS), survival games, and strategy games such as Resident Evil Village.

Resident Evil Village is a survival horror game in which players control Ethan Winters, who searches for his kidnapped daughter, Rosemary Winters, in a mysterious village filled with mutant creatures. Players scavenge various environments for items while managing resources, still allowing for action-oriented gameplay with an emphasis on combat and enemy counts. Not only do I adore gaming because of the various types of games, but I also adore it because of the ways in which you can customize your personal gaming setup.

Gaming setups are many gamers' achilles heel. They are my personal favorite when it comes to gaming as well. Computer setups can represent a gamer's personality just by how they decorate their space. For example, if someone decorates their space with a dual curved monitor setup, then one could infer that that person is someone who prefers FPS games rather than strategic games. 

Gaming has overall left a mark on my character since it has influenced me to want to pursue a career in computer science or robotics engineering. When I was a little kid, I would always watch my favorite YouTubers play various types of video games and I still do to this day. That has led me to love all video games and want to pursue a career related to computers, coding, or just technology in general.

    Absolutely love that you love gaming just as much as me. I been hooked on Call of Duty , but you make me want to try this game. Gaming setups are really Important, I plan on doing mine sometime this year!

Entry #2 - The Tone Within the Portrait

Hey everyone, In this next blog post I'd like to talk about music, specifically the afrobeats genre. Afrobeats is a vibrant, modern music genre originating from West Africa, primarily Nigeria and Ghana, blending traditional rhythms with pop, dancehall, highlife, and hip-hop. It is characterized by infectious, high-energy percussion and deep bass lines, often highlighting themes of partying, love, and success.
