Entry #3 - Illustrative Strokes

Sitting here pondering at my desk, I look over to my left. A shining aluminum tin glimmers under my desk lamp. I think for a moment before reaching over and running my fingertips over the protruding letters on the top of the can. A few seconds pass as I stare at my reflection in the aluminum before slowly picking it up, the contents inside the tin clinking against the metal as I rattle the container slightly.

"There's only a few left...," I whisper to myself as I sit in my partially dark room. Despite this revelation, I open the tin, setting the lid of it onto my desk with a *ka-clink*. Inside lies three perfectly rounded, snow-white refreshments, all for me. I reach in the tin and pull out one refresher, inspecting it as if it's something different from what it is.

"These kind of look like pills," I say a little louder as if someone can hear me. I pop the rounded refreshment into my mouth, the strong, icy flavor cooling me down almost instantly.

I take a second to digest the mentholated refreshment. The icy flavor burning my tongue but in the good kind of way. I suck on it a bit before breaking it in two with my canines and then into even smaller pieces. I continue to crush the refreshment between my teeth, the wintergreen icy flavor spreading all throughout my mouth as the pieces begin to shrink in size.

The taste makes my mouth water. Greedy, I reach for more. I practically down the last two icy disks in .3 seconds.

Seeing trends on social media about people DIYing their empty tin cans into little wallets inspires me to do the same. It takes hours, but I eventually finish crafting my own wallet out of the empty tin can I had. My cute little tin wallet now sits at the corner of my desk where I admire it every time I sit down to do my work.

Stay fresh yall!
