Entry #4 - A Deeper Look into Artistry
Art is something that I've always been passionate about. Ever since I was a kid, I'd always create little drawings in the multitude of notebooks that my mom bought me constantly. It was my main hobby for most of my childhood, other than gaming of course. It was a calming pastime that I enjoyed a lot. I focused a lot on it and eventually created some works in my freshman year of high school that I'm really proud of.

Art can almost always be left up to the viewer's interpretation which is why I enjoy it so much. For example, this photo of Theodore Chasseriauis interpretation of the feast at Macbeth's castle and the death of Banquo in Act 3 Scene 4 of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Some could infer that this painting looks like the well-known painting of Jesus having his final meal with his apostles in Jerusalem called The Last Supper because of the way Banquo is sat front and center of the table just like Jesus and highlighted to make it seem like he's an immortal being, just like we know Jesus is a Divine God. Some would also infer that Chasseriauis is representing Banquo as some sort of God just by the way it's similar to The Last Supper.
Art is also a great way to let out emotions. Many artists such as Frida Kahlo and Pablo Picasso used art to express what they were felling in paintings rather than in words, which has ultimately created the most famous emotionally powerful paintings that are admired today. Though many may frown upon some art forms of art or art in general, it will always have a special place in my heart and will always be my favorite way to express all that I'm feeling without the pressure of actually having to talk about it.
Live, love, laugh art!
