Entry #6 - A Traveling Artist
Hey everyone, let's chat!
Just recently I traveled to Texas, which is crazy since I've never went out of state before, to see my older sister graduate from BMT for the Airforce, and of course, I'm insanely proud. For this entry, however, I want to focus more on traveling.
What is traveling? Traveling is the act of going to different places instead of staying in one place. I, however, have stayed in Arizona for 15, almost 16, years so traveling is something that I strive to do when I'm older and something that I find an absolute luxury. So far, I've only traveled to Kenya which is in East Africa. That experience was probably the most fun I've ever had. I constantly hear people complaining about the tedious task of getting their tickets, checking in their bags at the airport, going through TSA, and finding their gate number then almost missing their flight. I, for some reason, enjoy that process a lot to be honest. It's such a surreal feeling to actually go through that process since I'm always home going through life without knowing the type of beauty that can be seen through travel.
I've honestly been in the U.S. for a little too long and with the things going on in the country right now, I want to leave as soon as possible. I've considered even studying abroad in South Korea, specifically Seoul, just because I've always wanted to travel outside the continent and I also love the culture there.

Your four new entries look pretty good, Rosemary. Your writing flows well, you deliver some interesting topics for discussion, and you have personality in your writing. Good visual appeal with images and layout. You are mostly developing your content well, but there is a bit of room to analyze further and create more significance for your audience. Keep working the concepts of rhetoric to connect to your audience and keep them engaged. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThis is a thoughtful and personal reflection on travel, and I like how you connect your own experiences to broader places you want to explore. The contrast between your first out-of-state trip to Texas and your earlier experience in Kenya helps show how meaningful travel feels to you, not just as movement but as exposure to new environments and perspectives.
